"Considering I’m old now, it may be hard to believe, but I remember feeling the same way about college. I changed my major 4 times. 4. I think I felt like your major is what defines you as a person and I was very hung up with who I wanted to be, and who I didn’t. I wish someone would have told me that what you major in not only does not define you as a person, but in some cases, serves no other purpose than to be a stepping stone toward the next thing you were meant to do. It’s fine to feel “ok” about your major, as long as you don’t just feel “ok” about you. Whoever says they knew exactly what they wanted to become is either full of shit or completely delusional and terrified to face the truth that we “become” new and different things all the time. We were never meant to be just one thing."
